LOST & FOUND PHILLY ART COLLECTION
Kidd & Co Café | Mt. Airy, Philadelphia

A rotating Black art exhibition and living cultural archive transforming Kidd & Co into a café-gallery space where food, memory, and Philadelphia storytelling meet.

Featuring works rooted in Black diasporic identity, community history, and contemporary expression, Lost & Found Philly highlights artists and narratives connected to Northwest Philadelphia’s cultural landscape, activating the café as a public art space, community gathering hub, and cultural restoration project.

Art. Coffee. Community. Memory.

A space where what was “lost” is re-centered, and what is “found” becomes visible.

KIDD

CO

Nearly 100% of the artworks in Kidd & Co Café’s “Lost & Found in Philly” collection have been found, preserved, and curated by owner and curator Ericka L Stewart.

Each piece reflects recovered Philadelphia cultural memory—art that may have been lost, overlooked, or disconnected from its community.

The collection parallels Kidd & Co Café’s food rescue and food justice mission through “We Feed the People,” treating both food and art as acts of preservation.

Rescued food nourishes the community, while preserved artwork restores cultural circulation and highlights social injustice, displacement, and the value of what is often forgotten.
